The free-of-charge ‘Ponto a Ponto’ platform features evidence-based dialogues between two leading figures from different fields on critical issues for development and democracy. The aim is to find common ground between their different perspectives.

This is the sixth episode of the original ‘Ponto a Ponto’ series by the Fundação FHC. In this episode, Clemente Ganz Lúcio and André Porto discuss the future of work and the regulation of platform work, examining the situation of app-based drivers and couriers.
Clemente Ganz Lúcio says: ‘Platform workers want the same protection that workers have wanted for 50 years. Perhaps the mechanisms are different.’
André Porto adds: ‘Technology is an ally in guaranteeing social rights for this group and improving the health of the sector.’
