Brazil amid international turmoil

The book, which is available for free download, analyses the rivalry between the United States and China, the role of the BRICS countries, the direction of Latin American integration, the challenges of climate negotiations and the impact of international transformations on domestic politics.

Bringing together analyses by renowned experts in international relations, the book ‘Brazil amid international turmoil’ offers pluralistic intellectual and ideological views on the geopolitical challenges faced by Brazil. It discusses how Brazil can defend its strategic interests without abandoning fundamental principles of its diplomatic tradition, such as promoting human rights, preserving national sovereignty and strengthening democratic institutions.
