Although the archive has some gaps, it captures his participation in pivotal moments in Brazilian history and his family connections despite the demands of an itinerant military life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comprising around 1,400 documents\u2014including telegrams, letters, reports, official correspondences, and news articles\u2014the archive is especially rich in materials from the 1890s. During this period, Joaquim Ignacio served as aide-de-camp to President Floriano Peixoto and held various administrative roles within the Army. His collection sheds light on the daily routines of military administration and revisits critical episodes from the <em>Rep\u00fablica Velha<\/em>, such as the <em>Revolta da Armada<\/em> and the <em>Revolu\u00e7\u00e3o Federalista<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The photographic section of the archive includes 48 images, primarily military portraits documenting his progression from lieutenant to marshal. Also included are group photographs taken during historic events, including one with Sebasti\u00e3o Bandeira and Major Solon Ribeiro, where the trio played a role in the 1889 events that led to the
